I only object to the smoking when they come and sit at the dinner table and smoke as I eat. Everyone but my wife's stepfather accepts that. He laughed when my wife asked him not to smoke. I told my wife to tell him if he didn't stop smoking at the table he would be wearing my dinner. Neither of us like him, so it was no loss upsetting him. I don't smoke, my wife does, and she doesn't smoke in the car.
