Hello everybody.

I am from Italy.

I entered Thailand 3 times in a row.

The first time I entered Thailand with a Non-Immigrant Visa and I stayed 50 days.

The 2nd time I entered Thailand without Visa (Visa exemption) and I stayed 30 days.

Yesterday, for the 3rd time I entered Thailand, without Visa (Visa exemption). I want to stay 30 days again.

So, in less than 6 months (from March till July) I will stay 110 days: 50 with a Non-Immigrant Visa + 30 with Visa exemption + 30 with Visa exemption. Is that ok?

Thanks.

There is no such rule. The old rule only applied to visa exempt entry and ended last year. There is currently no limit on the amount of time you can stay on visa or visa exempt entry.

This is only to thank Lopburi for his/her quick and precise answer.

If only he knew what happened to me yesterday with the Thai official at the immigration... Confusion rules.

Why are you confused.

There is no limit on the amount of time you can spend in the country. You got what is allowed yesterday. You can leave and re-enter as many times as want and get 30 days every time you enter.

Assuming you entered Thailand by air you shouid have been given 30 days, however if you crossed by land, from Laos or Cambodia for example, you would have been given 15 days.

If you could tell him/us what happened to you yesterday he/we may be able to answer you.

Really?

Thats the rule since November of last year 30 by air and 15 by land. The 90 days in 6 months is gone.

New restriction June 1st for land border crossings that limits it to 4 entries and then one by air to reset the count.
