Mr Hippo's Day In Court

Featured Replies

As I mentioned before "Arabic" was out on a 30day bail bond. Monday 20th July he is back in court in BKK.

The lawyer has stated he is ready for the appeal, so I will post on Monday evening / Tuesday the result of the second court sitting.

Court Monday - result

Bail extension up to six months whilst the judge reviews the case. Work Permit CANCELLED.

So the it continues on and on.

Called back to court for final ruling on the 13th July 2010. So it took a year for the judge to review the case.

In court the judge stood his ground and the sentence remains, and stated if he asked for a second review if failed he would then do the whole prison term of 6 months.

Result was, taken to Thonburi Remand Prison that day, his passport still remains with the immigration police, so we can assume he will be deported on his release.

I hope Mr Hippo will reply here, to whether he has received his passport back and / or the final result of situation as an insight to others to what can happen.

So how long in prison before being deported?
