sbk
Living on a tourist island I regularly see tourists bring dogs back to their bungalows, feed them, take care of them for the week or so that they are there and then leave. Leaving the dog to stay in a place where the owner doesn't necessarily want them or can take care of them. I know many places that end up with alot of dogs this way and frankly, its very unfair on the owners that get surprised with yet another dog from a well-meaning but poorly actioned tourist. At least these people put their money where their heart was and good for them.

Patsycat
I read that story yesterday and it brought a lump to my throat! If only everybody who "adopts" a dog on holiday would do the same thing as that couple... I must admit I did the same thing but I think the dog actually belonged to the resort as it seemed to move around the bungalows quite a bit, wore a collar and seemed well looked after. His name was David.
