I live in Nongkhai and the hospitals here cannot perform that. Anyone with news about the hospitals in Udon or Khon Kaen ??

And, like all Dutch people ask, "how much" ?? Have no health insurance....

Thanks.

Is that the hospital linked to the KK University ??

No not attached to the University , it is a private hospital , There is also a Proffesor who specialises in Bones , he is a teacher in the KK University medical school , he has a clinic on Sri Jan Road opposite the Siam Commercial Bank , you mey like to consult him

The hospital that is associated with KKU is Srinakirin Hospital.

If I'm not mistaken, the ortho doc that KK Ram uses is the one from Srinakirin.

Srinakirin will be a lot cheaper and probably have better ICU and post op recovery rooms.

They have a new building in the back of the main hospital that does a lot of surgeries after hours. They have an official policy of charging foreigners twice the normal fee.

I had knee and leg surgery at Khon Kaen Hospital and am very satisfied with the results. One of the options was knee replacement, so I know they do hips there.

Both the ortho docs i mentioned speak English.
