expatman
My wife's Thai passport has expired, what docs will she need to provide when applying for a new passport ? She has old passport, Thai ID card, and copy of house registration book (original is in Buriram). Does she need to show original house registration book when renewing passport ? What's the current fee, and howe long does it take at the Bangna office ?
samran
all the things she already has in hand should work, though a fax/scan/photocopy of the house registration could come in handy. My sister managed a new Thai passport in London last december with a 20 year old passport and copy of the house registration.
MJo
Got one for my daughter couple of weeks ago. No house registration needed so it should be ok with old pp and id card. Cost 1,000 baht and 35 extra for EMS delivery to your door. Takes 3 to 5 days so allow one week for delivery. Edit: was in Chaeng Wattana office and they had 60+ counters staffed so no que. Took about 15 minutes all in all. Edited June 19, 2009 by MJo
