wilson steer
The last time I got a multiple tourist visa from Hull U.K. it was valid for eight months from date of receiving it. Now the Hull U.K. visa website is saying it is valid for 12 months. Which is correct? I called today without luck. If one gets a tourist visa (single entry) it is valid for three months, then for two months upon entry into Thailand. A double entry tourist visa; is it valid for four months from date of issue or for three months then four months? I am confused...please fellow falangs...help? the scouser
I've had both single and double entry tourist visas. The single was valid for 3 months from the date of issue and the double for 6. The visa validity date, however, does not dictate how long you may stay in Thailand but, rather, by when you must have made your entry(ies). The length of time you may stay is determined by the immigration officer upon arrival; e.g you could have a single entry tourist visa which expires on 30/9/03. However, even if you do not enter the country until 29/9/03 you will still get the 60 days stamp from the IO. Scouse.
