San Diego? I know they have avocados, but do they have hockey there? Do they have ice? That's Chargers country.

And what about ice in Thailand? I can't help but wonder, did you mean any "rink" would be appreciated. sorry couldn't resist.

If any of you avocado growers have issues with root rot that can't be solved with drainage improvements, talk to me, I have experience with systemic fungicide treatments for phytophthora root rot prevention.

You can get grafted aussie varieties on the roadside where all the nurseries are on highway 2 between MuakLek and Pakchong.

You can get grafted thai ones from the PakChong research farm for 50b

Thanks guys for the info, but no one has any Cali avo links??? Are the avos we get here from Australia, the Thai variety-which are from where?

Oh, and yes we have ice, hockey, any other variation.

Does the name 2007 Stanley Cup Champion Anaheim Ducks ring a bell? SD had the Gulls!!

And we play ice hockey in Bkk! But very cute Dr.treelove!

Oh, and the best inline hockey players!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where was I??

Off Topic for the Doctor !

Do you have any knowledge of Huanglongbing or citrus greening disease ?

Specifically ,how and what dosage tetracycline can be injected to control it ?

Have a few sweet orange trees affected; I am not ready to cut them down yet.

I keep hoping it’s a mineral deficiency , but not !

Thankyou

PS , you can get Haas & Fuerte from the PakChong research farm.

You definitely are the avocado king in Thailand !

My Fuerte trees were very slow to get going , much slower that the Haas but they are finally growing.

I don't have direct experience with this disease, but a search turned up lots of interesting articles. I'll look into it further because I would like to know more. You must have already researched this and found the possility of tetracycline injections and are looking for information on dosage. I'll try to find out; have you checked on availability of tetracycline here?

I've used different methods of injection for trees and prefer the Mauget system. They have an antibiotic injection capsule, but I notice that it is registered for use on ornamentals only, there is probably some concern about use with food products.

Thanks. I did do a lot of reading and have a fair idea about needs done, tetracycline is available.

Unfortunately, I am in a smallish village without proper resources. If you come up with something I can improvise; please let me know!

PS the dates are almost ready!
