Hi, I'd like to wish a very happy 4th of July to all ThaiVisa members from the USA.

Like many others, I'm sick of seeing anti-american, anti-thai, anti-anyone that's not from my country posts on this forum.

We all live in the same world, and the majority of posters on this forum are ex-pats here, so maybe we can all make a fresh start. :)

Hope all you folks from the USA enjoy your special day, hopefully with your families, and loved ones around you.

A special day for us Yanks. My family and I spent last year at the US Military compound in Saudi Arabia, enjoying the day with the men and women of the military.

This year somewhat more sedate up-country.

Happy holiday to all.

This is also a double-independence day for those of us from Alaska. Sarah Palin has resigned. Finally. Happy Independence day!

PS: for the Brits - as a friend of mine from the UK - comedian always used as his opening line - How many Americans do we have here tonight? So how does it feel to have taxation without respresentation... Always brought the house down!

:) Just got home from the 4th of July Picnic at the American School on Sukumvit 49. Was a great time , Fantastic music , food, a lot of stuff for the kids. Lived here for 7 years and never got to go because I was never in BKK. Did I mention the beer.

Happy 4th to all of my fellow countrymen.
