Non Immg

Currently on a Multi entry non-immg visa which is valid until 26 Nov 2009.

Currently in Oz will return on 15 Jul for 1 week then back to Oz to finish treatment.(No problem there).

Then back to Thailand (KK) 1st week Oct 2009 (90 days will be given) but will pop up to Nong Khai on 25th Nov over & back now new 90 days will take me to approx 21 Feb 2010 - on 20 Feb Pop up to Nong Khai for a 30 day tourist visa as due back in Oz mid March for tests.

Is this feasible and do I have to actually go out and back to get this tourist visa?

Never had a tourist visa in the last 11 years hence the question. Will return after tests on new 12 mth Non Immg ex Sydney office.

All suggestions welcome.

You will have to go to Vientienne Laos to get the Tourist Visa. These are free until March. You will need a Visa to enter Laos as you will also need one when you do a border hop in November.

It might save you some time if you get the Laos Visa from the Laos Consulate in Khon Kaen before you go.
