Researched this on the internet but lacking in some information. Hope someone might know.

Allegedly being allergic to the contraceptive pill, would not a Contraceptive Injection use the same ingredients and result in the same suffering and illness? (Not the implants by injection).

Is the injection dealt with in a similar way to contraceptive pills in respect that the injection is given at the start of a new menstrual period?

Is there more likely to be extra bleeding after the 'period' has ended?

TIA for any sensible advice :)

The contraceptive injection is a progesterone preparation; search Depo Provera.

This supresses ovulation. No menstruation occurs while on this medication.

Much written in favour and much against but there is a lot of info out there.
