I did it 3 times now. For the purchase of my Honda, for my first driving license for 1 year, and now for my second driving license for 5 years. At the same Immigration Office Nongkhai.

Now I want to renew my ret visa and again they ask the housebook and copies and the ID from my landlady and a "list" showing my name.

I thought this registration was a once in a lifetime thing until you move to a new house.

Anyone please ??

Immigration Officers can ask for whatever they want. Nong Kai have a reputation for having requirements that are bit out of the ordinary.

I had this problem a few years back.

My landlord provided the documents and all was OK

They are just checking that you live at the same address.

Astral, was this a one year thing or does your landlord provide this stuff every year ? I mean, do you get some letter about this. At some Imm Offices the officers "roulate" frequently.
