i'm trying to reach the lipanoi office to ask some informations, i have those phone numbers from a previous phone call to surat thani but none of them are working, 077423308 is apparently a fax and 077423309 is not working at all(tried with phone and voip solutions).

i'd like to know if they can change the license plate of one of my bike wich is coming from chumporn and if so how long and how much.

Why you dont go there and just ask directly?

You dont have to change your numberplate, you can use your bike/car in Samui with every plate (Changwat) from Thailand.....mai mii panhaa :-)

unfortunately in thailand some rules are stupid and this one is one of the biggest i found : changing the ownership in another province than the one where the license plate is coming from will require to change it...

the bike is from chumporn so i have two choices :

1) going to chumporn to change the ownership and then i can keep the same license plate and renew the tax and sticker every year in samui.

2) go two times to surat thanni (they don't do it in lipanoi) to change the ownership and my license plate, please note only changing the plate can't be done in lipanoi.

btw the phone number finishing by 9 is the good one but it's hard to get them.
