Cindy Crawford Hurt Me

Featured Replies

In an effort to get off my fat butt and loose a few kilos in my stomach and butt, I downloaded about 10 workout videos along with some yoga and thai chi. Lots to choose from and the first one I tried was a fat burning yoga video and found that I couldn't make all the moves, so next day I chose Cindy Crawford as her's was professionally done in the 90's, but still appropriate and she is so nice to look at while working ut. But the next day, I had pains in my butt, back, stomach and neck. I think normal, as I overdid it just to impress Cindy.

Was wondering if someone into fitness could recomend at home workout videos to gently break into fitness. I live a long way from the nearest gym and that never appealed to me.

Any recomendations???

When I saw the topic I thought this was going to be about a wrist injury. :)

pilates is more low impact but very intensive. If you've gone from potato to active, any exercise is going to hurt :)

Pilates??? Did a "wikipaedia' on it and learned that it may be just what I need....combining yoga and aerobics. Then I went to my download server and found a few short workouts as well as a 'totally nud_e pilates' [that I'll save for when the kids are not around].

Any other suggestions ?? I'm not a total couch potatoe, but since retirement and moving here, I have gotten somewhat lazy and added 7 or 8 extra kilos and have lost a lot of my flexibility at 62 yrs old. I have been doing 10 -15 minutes on an elyptical machine in the morning, but that's all except for gardening.

Thanks for the Pilates tip......they are downloading as I type.
