Visa Extension Based On Child Custody.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Am not sure if this has been covered before.

My non-im visa, granted in London is soon to expire.

Would anyone know if it is possible to be granted a one year extension at Bangkok immigration based on custody of a Thai national? - I am divorced to the mother of the child, but have legal documents stating that I have been given custody of the child by a thai court. The child is at school here and under my care.

Are there financial requirements as with a non-o based on marriage?

Thanks and regards,

GFL.

Thanks people

Would tax docs showing the tax paid on 45,000 per month work, or are immigration now asking for bank records?

I own a business, which has underperformed the last six months but have paid tax on my salary.

Or would it be easier to fly to KL and get a new non-o armed with the birth certificate and court docs, i wonder?
