This topic probably has already been mentioned, if so, forgive me for mentioning it again.

This is about my latest visit to Chiang Mai Immigration to get an extension of my education visa.

On my past visits, I would sit in their open air waiting room sweating with everyone else for hours on end waiting to hear my name called.

I'm NOW sitting in their new waiting rooms complete with walls, doors, windows and 2 air conditioners. It's much nicer than before. It also comes with free wireless internet.

It's still a long wait, but nice to see Chiang Mai immigration is thinking a little bit more about their customers. I commend them highly for the changes they have implimented!!!

Attached is a photo of where people use to wait in the open air waiting room. If you look close at the photo you will see walls, windows, doors and an air conditioning. There are 2 air conditioners in that room with two air vents in the back. I have been using Chiang Mai immigration for the last 3 years and I think this does qualifies as a grand improvement!

That's amazing that something happened that fast,

and the Queen's Birthday / Mother's Day holiday as well.

Well I hope I can get my wheelchair in there. The ols one was bad enough.

I was there yesterday. Much better than before, and friendly staff, unlike Bangkok Immigration.
