No Thai-tax On Received Retirement-funds ?

ProThaiExpat,

Thanks for your expert-opinion !

I think I will give it a try:

1. Put the received annuity on an overseas bankaccount for at least 2 years.

2. Apply for a refund for the Dutch taxes paid on those annuities.

3. From day one : Pay taxes in Thailand.

4. Show prove to the Dutch tax collector, I pay taxes in Thailand.

5. Every year, bring in the 2 year old annuity from the overseas bankaccount.

By the way : I still have to check the new tax-treaty between Holland<>Thailand which shoud be ready to sign (within a couple of years from now........ they say).

Kind regards,
