Loud Dance Venue In Samui Last Night

Featured Replies

There's been an insanely loud bass thump beating on until approx 3:06am this morning, at which time the volume seemed to halve. It's now 4am and it seems to have stopped.

The repetitive and loud noise (and that's what thumping bass without any music is) seemed to come from the Bo Phut / Banrak direction - anyone know details?

The insane part about this torture is that a combination of quiet seas and no breeze has allowed the thumping to travel across 18Km to Bantai KPG, where it has kept residents awake most of the night.

Edit: lower volume thumping noise continues past 4am.

It wasn't a bad party actually. Sorry you couldn't make it. Not a bit to do with the thread posted above.

Was that the Chang sponsored party on the beach?

Most likely it was the farewell party for Sunset Song at Bang Rak, which was held last night, which is located next to Haveli, the Indian restaurant.

Did it wake you up Roo? :D

Not this one :)

Agreed the farewell party was fairly loud but I'm surprised it carried so far.

I am five minutes walk along the beach and slept fine.

Could the venue have been Koh Som? Might explain why the monotonous thumping was able to continue for so long without intervention.
