The plane didn't crash and they didn't lose my luggage and get this guys - that was on BOTH legs. Oh and nearly forgot, the projector worked on the return journey.
March 17, 200521 yr Take a close-up look at your ride: http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=7267...&next_id=712245 This Phuket Air 747 was cast off by Garuda if that's any indication of how worn it is. cv
March 17, 200521 yr I'd rather swim Vic <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The OP may have to! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or a 50/50 special ... half fly ... half paddle ( if he is lucky ) When Garuda pension off an aircraft it is more than shagged.
March 17, 200521 yr When long range twin engine aircraft like the A300 began flying trans oceanic flights they had a name for it, EROPS (Extended Range Operations). The cynics called it Engines Run Or Passengers Swim cv
March 17, 200521 yr I have flown with them several times, no problems, one scedule change which meant I missed my flight but the put me up at the miracle Grand all expences paid and gave me three seats to myself for the flight back, pretty good service for the price
March 17, 200521 yr flew them bkk-lgw-bkk - we fine. Good service, entertainment ok, food great. can't fault them. did notice one of the wings moving a bit too much though Edited March 17, 200521 yr by mr_lob
March 18, 200521 yr We need the opinion of lampard10, our resident aircraft engineer on this: http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=7539...&next_id=748048 Why all the black where the vertical stabilizer meets the fuselage? Lubrication seepage? crud from the apu? heat from the apu blackening the paint? I love classic airliners, but don't think they should be in mainline service like this. cv
March 19, 200521 yr I get a bit worried when I see their airplanes sitting on the tarmac. If they cant even be bothered to keep them clean then what about the important stuff like the engines! Same with One Two Go.
