Persistent reports come from the pro-democracy movement regarding UK dealings with Thailand and Thaksin.

Critics from that constituency claim that there were economic interests involved, between the UK and Thailand, which had an influence on the UK's removal of Thaksin's visa.

There has even been a low-level boycott of the UK's TL as a result of those accusations within that community.

The information now being offered by Libyan authorities state that economic interests between them and the UK also played a part in the release of this Libyan terrorist Megrahi.

The UK has gone to great lengths to dispell the truth of this Libyan information.

However, economic trade relations are powerful forces between countries.

Is the Uk correct in denying this Libyan information? I would like to think so.

Are the pro--democracy people correct in their assertions. Who knows.
