If you want cheap to London why not fly direct with EVA, they have returns all-in from Bangkok at about 33,500 right now.

Singapore is doing great fares from Oz too at the moment - i am flying to BKK next week on one, but there are a few fine print restrictions like no flyer points are counted and strictly no change or cancellation ,but for under half the normal fare they are worth considering. Also Thai has some good fares at the moment too.
