Apparently a few years ago Macdonalds launched McSomtam.

I surfed a bit, and it seems not to have been a joke:

Priced at Bt25 each, McDonald's named its Somtam dish "Thai Spicy McSalad Shaker", or McSomtam in Thai. It will be served in a tall dome-lid cup with a packet of hot and sour Somtam sauce. The Thai Spicy McSalad Shaker will satisfy lovers of Thai food and increase visits to McDonald's, said Dej Bulsuk, president of McThai Co Ltd.

Yes, i remember it.

I believe it was some kind of seasonal thing, about six years ago. Inever tried it, and it disappeared after a few weeks. Never to be seen again.
