This morning a gold coloured truck pulls up near our place. Two Thai male's approach our neighbors place, then ours, telling us that are the "police", and that they are raising money for the "south" and would we make a donation. They have some photos in a book, dead bodies the like etc. Similar to the post Tsunami scams that were around. Anyway, needless to say they left empty handed. Just a warning to others of yet another scam on Samui.

Did they offer some 'buddahs" in exchange for the 'donation' ?
