Englishman’s Girlfriend hangs herselfafter a night out on Walking Street.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Anan from Pattaya Police Station was called to house number 323/229 in the Biemsoop Village to investigate an apparent suicide at the location. In the first floor master bedroom, the body of Khun Walaporn aged 22 was discovered. She had apparently hung herself using a sarong which had been tied to a curtain rail. On the ground floor, the woman’s boyfriend and house owner from the North of England who did not wish to be named was inconsolable and was himself threatening to kill himself after discovering the body of his girlfriend. The pair were believed to have had an argument and the young woman decided to go to Walking Street for a drink. She returned in an intoxicated state and went straight up to the bedroom where she took her own life. Police have noted the incident as a suicide but are waiting for the results of a post-mortem examination before they close the case.

Hope the autopsy is done by a competent coroner, and not "tossed off" because she was a BG.

If I tried to top myself using our curtain rail, the whole lot would fall down instantly, its just drilled into the plaster using one small bolt. It would be murder trying to put it all back up again.

Anyway I thought hanging was all about breaking the neck - to cause the quick fatality. It would take ages to die of suffocation by just closing the trachea.

From the photos - it doesnt seem likely she would be able to hang herself!

Check out the dirt on the bottom of her feet.

I might be wrong but this actually might be at least a month or 2 old.

I remember a death (suicide) of a girl where a farang in a white shirt would'nt let camera's in the the room to see his friend (the old guy) and he was pushing them away on TV, Eventually the TV crews were let in by the police and the farangs were questioned further as to why they would'nt let anybody in (like they had something to hide), Anyway the pics looked like that story but as i said, I might be wrong.

City News recycling old news stories??

I saw this story on cable TV this morning and it showed the dead girl on the bed. It seems odd that she would kill herself after an arguement at a bar. It showed the noose and the 'curtain rail' I expect since she was small build it might have taken her weight.

The farang 'Dave' seemed upset, but I have seen tears before from cold blooded murderers.

The jury is out on this one. I say 50/50 my suspicions are real.

An argument broke out that night because a bar girl was too much affection to her boyfriend

Police Lieutenant Colonel Anan Tamchaigun, inquiry inspector at Pattaya Police Station was alerted at 1.30am on March 14 to a suicide at Piam Suk Villa off Pattaya Third Road.

At 313/229 the police lieutenant colonel and the Sawang Boriboon met with a distraught farang male, only identified as Dave, 57, who took them upstairs to see the body of his girlfriend Waraporn Kumduan, 22.

The story that unfolded was that the couple had gone out that evening and at some point during the night an argument broke out: it's believed as a result of a bar girl showing too much affection to the farang. When they arrived home, the girlfriend went straight to her room and wouldn't come out.

After some time had passed, Dave decided to check on her and discovered her hanging from an improvised noose. He then took her out of the noose and placed her body on the bed.

There no were reports of suspicious circumstances, but so far cause of death has not been recorded as suicide. An autopsy has been scheduled at Banglamung Hospital.
