Hi. I am a US citizen, and my wife is a Canadian. We will be moving to Thailand soon to teach English. When we get there, we will be taking a TEFL course, through which we can 90 education visas. However, when we get there, we are thinking of traveling into Laos for two weeks before we start our TEFL course in Phuket. And since multi-entry education visas cost twice as much as single entry ones, I was wondering if it is possible to enter Thailand on the regular 30 visa when we fly in, and then come back in from Laos with the education visa two weeks later.

Basically, I guess I am wondering if when the education visa is issued, if it is fixed to your passport, or if they give you a separate sheet (this way I could just hold on to that visa and not show it until i enter Thailand the second time). Would this work?
