Testicular Surgery

Featured Replies

Diagnosed 6 yrs ago. Not cancer, but a mass in one of my boys.

Was told then that if it was not bothering me, why worry. Now it has grown and needs to be removed.

Any suggestons on physicans and hospitals?

Thx in advance.

Ouch...... best wishes and a speedy recovery.

Had a small cyst removed from one in June. I had the surgery done at Sukhumvit hospital under local anaesthetic. Everything turned out fine including the biopsy. Took some time to heal but that was my fault not the hospital's.

Mine is now the size of a golf ball. :)

No pain. Just gets in the way....

who was your Doc if I may ask..

Dr Viroj Chodchoy at Bumrungrad. He's been recommended here before and I personally think he's good.

Chodchoy's name keeps coming up as a good one.

I will give 'em a call.

Thanks one and all.

Reminds me of when I had testicular surgery as a young boy of 12. It turned out to be a "hydrocelectomy" where fluids were removed (and perhaps more, I don't know). Mine was the size of a golf ball too. Wow, that was a full 50 years ago! :)

My recovery was quick, and hopefully yours will be also.

Good luck!

I can't recall the name of the doctor. Not something I have ever taken much notice of before.
