Hello all i have a question ok i have a girl friend for 5 years all ready i stay whit here in Ayutthaya shee have a daughter i paid school for here and i would be paid university in 2 years i have a disability i have a pension from canada everry years a receive 640.000 thai baht so i can applie for VISA NON-0 visiting here or for sponsor here daughter for school or my last option go for EDVisa buth for my condition would be hard to go everry weeks in bangkok for the school

You do not qualify for an extension of stay, as for that you have to be mareid to a Thai. Sponsoring a Thai is not enough.

If you are over 50, you might be able to apply based on retirement, if you can also show at least 160,000 in a bankaccount in Thailand for a combination of incoem and money in the bank of at least 800,000 baht.

If not then your best option is indeed the ED-visa. This requires yyou to study for at least 4 hours a week at a registered school. (Doesn't have to be a Thai language course, as long as the school is recognised you will be fine. Evene a course English is fine).

That classification for normal issue of a non immigrant O visa was dropped by MFA years ago - the closest place currently providing would probably be Perth.
