Anyone know what the weather is and will be like then?

These weather forecasts arent very helpful due to the sudden change in the weather this year compared to the previous years. I thought id find someone living there that can help me..

Thailand including Ko Samui (though a bit pricier than most other places) is a shoppers paradise most things are very cheap compared with the UK, so my suggestion is allocate GBP100 to buying some things , which you would probably buy anyway, leave your existing togs at home and enjoy buying some more, that way you'll have room in your suitcase for your holiday purchases and not have to buy another one.

If it rains they will have something cheap and functional to sell you, why lug anything from UK?

very hot , 30-37 during the day and 25 to 30 during the night.

sea breezes bring some relief to those on the beach or on a sea facing slope.

may get a thunderstorm or afternoon shower , but probably wont.

bring as little as possible.

The weather will be hot and dry. You may get the odd thunderstorm in the day, which may last an hour or two, but it doesn't mean you have to pack anything extra.

Just pack normal holiday clothes - bikinis, bikinis, bikinis

very hot , 30-37 during the day

Concur with that. I suggest maybe a thong for the beach. April 1-5 you say. What beach ? :o
