My maid has a very young baby, (5 months), and in the local manner perches him on her knee etc. while riding her m/cycle.

I bought a stroller for her as she lives only a few hundred metres from my house. With admonitions to use it.

Needless to say it remains largely unused, although not yet sold.

Being wary of claims that injuries to her and/or the baby while coming to work, or doing minor shopping, might find a claim made against

me, and not wishing to be party to any injuries to either of them, I would like to know how much strength a signed witnessed statement

from her ackknowledging that I forbid the use of a motorcycle while carrying the baby during my employ, might have any value.

I can ask the guards to bar her admittance on the m/cycle but probably cause "loss of face", and only partially be useful.

I don't expect to change her or local modes of transport generally, only in this instance.

Be pleased to see any inputs.

She has had about 5 accidents in the last 3 years, one only 5 weeks ago, when fortunately the infant was not aboard.

Is the only solution to dismiss her?
