For which the responsibility lies fairly and squarely with those clueless HMPO clowns in Corby IMHO. But, if perchance, they have, in fact, determined, for their inscrutable reasons, that fictitious police reports of lost and stolen passports (along with certified English translations + completed LSO1 forms) are now to accompany all passport renewal applications submitted from Thailand as a matter of course, then they also need to communicate this fact to those responsible for administering the gov.uk website so that those of us who are about to renew our passports are aware of this particular requirement up front.
Personally I rule nothing out as far as HMPO are concerned when it comes to crass stupidity!
I can guarantee you that the speed is dependent on many things. As you obviously don't understand communications let me put it simply for you.
if you are going to connect to say Google you will make the connection through many switches before you get to Google. Each switch has a maximum speed, lets say it is 100Mbs. That is shared among everyone who is connected to that switch. If there is just a couple of connections you will have a fast link but if it is almost to capacity you will have a slow link.
Do you understand now as to why the speed checkers tell you little more than you have a connection.
A suit is underway in Federal Court claiming that the Trump tariff is unlawful under the IEEPA.
As to what if any attention the Chinese are paying to that, I have never seen any reference.
I got a bunch of feeds of youtube vids where chaos was breaking out in china.
i figured it was fake news.
the fake news isn't going to go away any time soon.
you need to sift through a whole lotta garbage to get to facts these days.
Agree, but there is some who always have a problem wherever they go in Thailand. Continously being a victim for the unpredictable Thai system, rules and Thai culture, who trying to get them out of Thailand, and do not want their money.
