Went to my car today to find my number plate is missing !,where should i go to get another made up ?.

do i go back to toyota where i first bought it ?

Police station, report it missing, then to the nearest Dept. of Land transport with said report. They'll cut you another plate and you come back and pick it up when it's ready.

For the illegal but perhaps more practical way (and I dare say, most police can't tell the difference and they hardly ever check), find a steel shop that can make identical (including DOL logo) plates, order one and get it in an hour or so and screw it on your car. Total slap on the wrist crime... to the point where most shops advertise that they can make said plates.

Or look in todays (sunday)BKK Post. Big feature about false plates. Go to the Transport office or the same dealer you brought the car from. Much safer.

ask the motor bike rental guys on pattaya beach,they know it very well.(i am serious)
