Give Help With The Price Of Things

Featured Replies

Thought I'd start a thread where we could all contribute a rough guide to the price of things I've found to be what a local would pay to try and avoid paying a "foreigner" mark up. I'm talking about stuff (like myself when I first needed an aircon unit serviced) where I didn't have a clue how much it would be.

Not "A basic LCD TV should be about 15-16k baht" or banally smug "I get it done for free because my brother in law is an engineer" type things. :)

I've found

Aircon unit service about 400 baht per unit.

Septic tank emptying about 3-400 baht for 3 tanks.

Car tyre puncture repair about 80-100 baht

Car aircon recharge about 400 baht.

Contributions welcome

DVDs for no more than 60 baht from a street vendor and 30 baht from websites :)
