November 1, 200916 yr No insurance over 6 month, technically after 6 month you are resident in another country I've checked BUpa and the non resident plan for 6 month costs for 50year around 20.000b, max coverage only 1mil b,aht not cheap. You should try Thai Visa Insurance - their Broker got me a BUPA 6 month travel plan for 6,000 Baht and that was 2m Baht coverage Your plan is for travel outside Thailand for no more than 60 days each trip. Anyone know of a better solution than Bupa Sunshine Plan?
November 6, 200916 yr we were in phuket in may this year and were hit by a car on our scooter....4 days in hospital and $7500 in bills later i was glad to have insurance...didnt think i needed it either...i have been going to thialnd since 1987...never had a problem b/4.... but i will always get insurance...just in case.....
