What Do These Expressions Mean ?

I found many expressions like those below in a book I am reading at the moment (a rather childish story about young people in Bangkok).

It is not always easy to find explanations in dictionaries.

A few examples:

เป็นฟืนเป็นไฟ

สอดรู้สอดเห็น

ต่อปากต่อคำ

เด้กหนอเด้ก

ทำมืทำไม้

Is there a list of the most common of them ? I think I have reached a point where I must start dealing with, and try to learn, expressions like this.

Posted (edited)

1) Angry, angst

2) Nosey, inteferring person, sticking your nose where it doesn't belong

3) ??

4) They don't know anything ('cause their just kids), kids will be kids

5) ??

Hope these help

From Lexitron:

เป็นฟืนเป็นไฟ [ADV] furiously; angrily; fiercely

สอดรู้สอดเห็น [V] to snoop; be inquisitive; be meddlesome

ต่อปากต่อคำ [V] to have words with; exchange words with; argue back and forth; haggle with; enter into controversy with; squabble with

ทำมือทำไม้ [V] to gesture; pose; act

For "เด้กหนอเด้ก" should the spelling be "เด็กหนอเด็ก" ?

Thanks !

1. Maybe lexitron could be the solution to my little problem.

2. I copied from the book, but considering the Thai attitude to proof reading, probably.
