Teaching English To My Thai Gf

Featured Replies

I am seeking some advice from all you experienced teachers out there.

My thai gf wishes to improve her english language skills and I am hoping that there are some good books/audio programs which would make this task easier. She only has a 6th grade education, and her english is "fair". She lives up-country with her family and is too far from schools which teach english to adults. I am from the USA and am able to spend about 4-5 months per year in Thailand with her, so we are able to tutor each other during these months. Are there any programs or books which stand out and make this task easier? She is very willing to put the work in for improvement, but when I am back in the states she has no materials with which to work. Any suggestions for while I am there? Any suggestions for when I am not there to help her out? Thanks in advance for your input. Mike
