Hi

I am applying for a settlement visa for my Fiance. Within my huge pile of documents to be submitted I have included photocopies of my passport and birth certificate and a few other documents. Can I certify these myself or do I need to get a solicitor or someone else to do it? Has anyone ever had any problems for certifying themselves?

Also has anyone ever had a problems caused by submitting internet bankikng statements as opposed to the ones the bank send you.

Thanks

They specifically request a certified copy of the biodata page of your (UK) passport;self-certfication is okay. No request or need for your birth certficate or that of your spouse. Online bank statements are acceptable. See UKVAC website for list of documents that you need to submit. Good luck.
