Hi again,

We will be applying for my fiance's settlement visa some time in the next couple of weeks. :) I was originally going to put the date that he wished to enter the UK as some time in mid february (3 months after the appliaction, as I know some settlement applications were taking this long to process) but I have noticed that the waiting time for settlement visas appears to be coming down.

We are both keen for him to come here as soon as possible as we have been apart for 3 months now and I am only going out to see him for a month. What is the soonest date I could realisticlly put for his intended travel date. We have provisionally booked the begining of April for our wedding, Will this affect the date he is allowed to enter the UK. We would probably bring the date of the wedding forward if he could get his visa sooner.

Thanks

Subject to the wedding taking place and FLR application being submitted within the 6 month life of the visa, if you want to bring forward the start of the visa there is no need to alter the planned date of your wedding.
