Hi,

I'm just about to book a ticket using Trailfinders in the UK. About £390 for direct return LDN to BKK. Seems a very good price to me - unless anybody knows better?

Any suggestions please?

Thanks.

We are going direct Thai for £388 incl tax so yr quote good. Can recommend Etihad per Rinrada, virtually new planes, great inflight service and v short stop-over (check the flights thought - one short, one long).

I've also booked Thai for £382 (E-bookers - inc taxes, surcharges, ticket delivery etc) for flights in June. Have been a big fan of Trailfinders for many years, but now find that searching through the online bookers nearly always beats them e.g.

http://www.airline-network.co.uk/flights/availability.asp

http://www.ebookers.com/index.html

http://www.expedia.co.uk/

http://www.opodo.co.uk/

There are others, but the above tend to flag up pretty much the full range of options.

Apart from the comment about flight lengths with Etihad, look also at the Thai flight times. I reckon that flying out from Heathrow at 21.30 (arrive BKK 15.05) and back from BKK at 01.10 (arrive LHR 07.10) gives me the best chance to snooze most of the flight away and feel less dead on arrival. Just came back with EVA a fortnight ago on a lunchtime flight and didn't sleep a wink. Plus - Thai have decent seat pitch (I'm 6'2").

BTW, if you collect Nectar points, remember that E-bookers awards them :o
