I am planning to go to the UK for Christmas time and so far the best price I have found flying from Bangkok to London Heathrow has been with Jet Airways. Bangkok to Mumbai to London Heathrow.

I had never heard of this airline before and would be interested in hearing from other people who have used the airline to fly to London.

Good or bad I would appreciate your views and hearing about your experiences of using Jet Airways.

Thanks in advance for your time.

they started that rouute only earlier this year and give the biggest luggage alowance 35kg (most of the others only 20kg) - so even for this reason worth to choose them.

some 6h layover from bangkok and 1.5h to bangkok - which is not that bad.

you can once change returning date without penalty and any more date changes £20

I cant give you an opinion yet but I have booked with themto come back in January, best price of 398 gbp returning in May. I have a change at Mumbai from large plane to a smaller one, short change time of about 2 hours, I leave London at about 1000 arrive BKK at 0740, time suits me fine. As it all based through Mumbai I am assuming they are an Indian Airline, seem to be a new carrier so am expecting up to date aircraft.

Best airline I have ever flown with.

The trip Thailand to Mumbai is in a fairly small aircraft, free drinks

Mumbai to Heathrow is luxury, nice Indian food, metal knives and forks, cloth napkins, good movie choice on personal screen (PC style menu).

Did I mention as many free drinks as you want!

Mumbai was a laugh, no time between planes, herded from one plane to the other by 'handlers', straight through all the checks, hardly time to go to the loo. (all those free drinks)

Jet Air have been around in India as a domestic airline for many years and was the best because it was private company I always used to fly from England on Singapore then down to Goa on Jet.

Always good food and service and on time, not used it to England but I have used it from BKK to Mumbai to Goa can do now same day connections.

As some of the previous posters have said already, one of the most pleasurable flights I had when I did London to Bangkok last year. Food and service was excellent and leg room in economy was good too.

Some people say Mumbai airport is a bit of a drag and the numerous security checks get a bit tedious. Just be very careful with buying anything liquid at LHR duty free. Even in sealed bags I did see people having huge problems with the security people. Not worth the hassle really.

Would definitely fly with them again.
