We are due to apply for my wifes ILR in April 2010 and I have just noticed that one of the requirements on the application is for 6 letters addressed to both of us. We have plenty addressed to us individually but none jointly. Is this going to cause a huge problem. Thanks DJT.

^ I shouldn't have thought so - but are you able to get any bills/statements/memberships etc changed to include both your names? You still have several months to go before the application deadline.

As far as I'm aware, it doesn't matter that they are addressed seperately. The main point is to show that you have both been and still are, living together. Preferably, in marital bliss :)

From section 10 of the application form.

Note 8 We need 6 letters or other documents addressed to you jointly or in both your names. If you do not have enough items in your joint names, you may also provide items addressed to each of you individually if they show the same address for both of you.
