High pressure sodium and metal halide whilst very good at what they do also generate a lot of heat which is not a good thing in a hot country like

Thailand. Do some research into LED grow lights this may suit you better. If your electric supply is not constant, ie up in the village, 12v ones are

available that could wired to batteries fed by a battery charger or solar panel.

Hi,

I would like to have to plants in a bathroom without window, do you think that these plants would survive thanks to hps sodium light ?

Thanks.

I spent a winter in the Antarctica when it went dark I could not lite up the base out side for about 4 weeks, why, because most the street lamps had been relocated for indoor use. These lites (HPS) worked fanatically in doors for about 6 months of growing. The quanty was unreal the quality stunk. Oh yea I found repacement bulbs for the street lites.
