bkkmick
Hi I guess that the pinned topics at the top of each thread are useful to new users but, after a while, they're just a pain to have to scroll past each time a topic is opened. On the main forum page where the various groups of topics are grouped together you have the ability to click on the minus sign on the right to minimise that group so that they don't take up screen space. Would it be possible for your web guys to put the same minimise facility for pinned topics so that after going through them you can click it to free up useful screen space (especially when browsing on a mobile phone). Cheers Mick
Chang_paarp
Unfortunatley with the large number of new members the pinned topic are there to stay. One thing I have done to reduce the % of the page the pinned topics occupy is to increase the number of topics and replies on a page, mine is set to 50 (the max?). Much less scrolling over different pages.
bkkmick
Don't mind them staying there I was just suggesting a minimise button for those of us who have finished with them. The default would be maximised with the button to minimise when no longer needed.
marshbags
I put forward the suggestion I offered some time ago to help solve this problem A red sign indicating a new addition / update Flashing or otherwise if it possible, I would welcome it, as would many others I reckon. Good for everyone IMHO marshbags Edited November 21, 2009 by marshbags
