This is a disaster, where are we suposed to get all the up to date news and information of what is happening on the island?

Such a shame that this usefull, factual and well researched example of journalism is currently not avavilable.

What will we do?? :)

Maybe its time to make a new website, i would support a proper samui news website with hosting, domain, webmaster costs just need some contributor to make the news...

As usual we will now see the usual gloating posters who like nothing more than to see a perceived difficulty.

Most of the critics never brought the paper anyway.

It certainly is by no means perfect and needs much better editing but it is still nevertheless all we have and in my

opinion did a reasonable job. It was never going to compete with the Times.

As is conveniently missed by many of the Express critics is that to the best of my knowledge, all correspondence

was published even when highly detrimental to the paper and in many cases quite insulting.

I for one hope its not going down the tubes. The alternatives, are the dreadful Luvvy self serving glossy

magazines with hundreds of pictures of freeloaders clutching glasses of fizzy wine. The only news therein

relates to overtoothed ladies gossiping about the latest star to visit here..... What a bleak outlook! :)
