Need to dig a deep well in my samui's property. Any bad experience or advise about it with samui's company?

Dom,

I have used samui Deep Well in the past. Never had a problem with servicing, or getting free water if there was a problem with the well.

There is a couple of Co's on the island & from memory one from BKK.There was a thread running on here, will try & find it.

Previous discussion Here. might give some idea.

there is 1 company on the island and they have manopolized it. they charge stupid prices to clean a well once a year 20 000 baht. i asked them if they could come round to dig deeper as my water was quite dirty. they would not do it. they would only dig a new well for 170 000 baht. they had the attiude of that." where else can u go". i was discusted.how pointless. what are they going to do dig a well net to my well. oh well!

Have you considered putting in a filtration system? If you still have water?

My landlord recently did for the 14 houses he owns... in my neighbourhood, We now have clean clear water. The filters are flushed every three days or so... the water flushed out, is almost black!

I believe it cost him 70,000 baht to put in, including two filter tanks, a holding tank (500 litres I think) Chlorine tank & pumps... There are also two large holding pressure tanks which were already in place... in the tower.

I suspect, you'd require a smaller system, so price should reflect that... It was put in by a Maenam Company, if interested PM me, & I will find out the name & phone number.
