End Of 12 Month Extension To My Non-immigrant Visa By Marriage

My 12 month extension to my non-immigrant visa based on marriage expires in February.

I understand that I just need to make another application for a new extension.

1. As this would be my second extension, is the process the same with an interview with myself and my wife?

2. Do I use Form TM7?

3. On my last application I was on a work permit. I will not be on a work permit at the time I apply in February. I plan to rely on income I receive from a property in the UK to show independent income of 40,000 or more. What evidence will they ask for?

3) You will need to obtain an income letter from your embassy. Precise requirements for issue are down to the embassy so best to check with them, but believe you will need to show rental agreement and copies of bank statements showing the receipt of funds.

You will also need to take with you to immigration wife's ID card, tabbien bahn (house book), marriage certificate, photos together around the home, map to home, copies of passport/TM6 departure card and current passport sized photos. Cost 1,900 baht. Most offices are now asking also for Kor Sor 2 (copy of marriage register) so best to check.

Me and the Mrs have applied for the 1yr ext. based on marriage. And am now on the 30 day under consideration stamp.

Excellent service at Chang Wattana and officials very polite.

You will certainly require a map of your address location.

They are particular regarding photos this time. 6 will be required. Both of you should be in all of them.

3. In living room/dining/kitchen etc.

1. In main bedroom, sitting on bed. Open wardrobe showing his/her clothes not needed this time.
