I have 100's of photo's from my days in Thailand, i would love to put them onto disk, but its going to be time consuming, anyone recommend good software and the right type of scanner ? I'm in the UK right now, maybe there is a company that would do it. Tried Google of course , but personal experience would be more helpful

Boots used to do it (I used them, but it's doubtful if they still do), but start off at your local Kodak shop. If you have the negatives they'll be able to use an auto-feeder and you should end up with better results :)
