I'm taking my 250 Honda Degree from Udon to Chiang Rai soon and would like to know the quickest route. I'm sure it will take more than one day's ride, so if anyone also has an opinion on mid route accomadations, I'd appreciate it.

How you get from Udon over to 2 is up to you but when you are on 2 go north, go west on 12 tell you get to highway 11 go north tell you get to highwat 1 then on Highway 1 to Chiang Rai. I drive a car Chiang Mai to Surin 10.5 hours.
