Featured Replies

Hey all,

I've just moved to Samui (Lamai) from England, does anyone know of a good place to go have a X Mas dinner in Lamai??

Bob :)

Ive had my xmas dinner in the Shamrock in Lamai for the last two years and also had the Thanksgiving dinner there recently.Believe me you will not be disappointed.I would book as early as possible as i have, been sold out the last two years.Enjoy and dont have any breakfast on the day,Merry Christmas !

Sorry, just noticed , you said you were in Lamai....cancel the last post.

Cant beat Alans xmas dinner at the Red Fox, nice lot of ex-pats there as well even thou some of them are old and grumpy :) .

agree with the above post, Red Fox has always done the best sunday roast, so i assume there xmas dinner will match.... but with everywhere , book in advance

yesterday most of Lamai beach road restaurants were empty, like the week before....

maybe all the turists will arrive tomorrow....

BTW where is the Red Fox?

Going down the newish walking st, about 100 metres on the left hand side.

Anyone going in there should beware of the 2 old farts :) .

We Booked ours at the Samui Shamrock, we had a great dinner there last year. The service and quality of food was first class and we didnt have to share our table with any grumpy ex pats :)
