What is best current deal availible on generic viagra (penagra, kamagra).

I have been paying 400 baht for a pack of four or 1000 baht for three packs.

However I was recently offered two packs for 500 baht at the same chemist but from a different assistant which leads me to beleive I have been overpaying for these last few months.

What are the best current prices and where from?

The maths don't add up:-

400 Baht for 4 = 100 Baht each.

1000 Baht for 3 = 333 Baht each.

500 Baht for 2 = 250 Baht each, better than deal #2 but worse by a country mile than deal #1.

So yes if deal #2 covers the last few months you were overpaying but deal #1 is bluddy good.

If I posted that I got a box of 50 for 6000 Baht (120 each) it would invite too many p1ss taking comments so I won't. But had I been in the market for such goods that would have been the price.

Where? I'd like to keep schtum about that but in the interests of freedom of information blah blah blah the pharmacy is located not a million miles from jct South Road and Pratamnak Road. I got a horrible feeling tho that the place has just been raided. Prices elsewhere around town tended towards the 150 each.

Course I never use the stuff, just doing research for TV. :o

Looks like 50 packs for THB 6000.- is acceptable.

Have not seen a place who offer that much.

I'd like to remind everyone that this is a discussion of prescription drugs, and as such presupposes you have seen a doctor and acquired a prescription for the amounts you are purchasing. TV forum policy on discussion of these drugs prohibits discussion of purchasing them over the counter, therefore I am *sure* all the previous posters who mentioned purchases had doctor's notes with them. Just a bit of indirect advice in the interests of keeping this thread open longer.

What dosage are people talking about here 50Mg. 100Mg??

You can get them from an online pharmacy in the USA which ships them direct from the manufacturer in India. Much cheaper than prices you pay here if you buy in reasonable quantities. Not sure I can post the link as it may go against forum rules on this subject.

1 Pack/Box ,contain 1 sheet with 4 blue pills. If my understanding is correct then Pattaya it's THB 300.-/Pack,means 4 pills.

What about BKK?

Just send a Thai to pick them up and you will get the best price that way. Then please report back as to the prices you got.

I always have a Thai friend do my shopping at pharmacies. After checking the quoted cost, I am amazed at the difference between farang and Thai prices.

Perhaps a bit of confusion here. In developed countries, a medical doctor's prescription is required. I think in Thailand, any licensed pharmacist can sell Viagra/Kamagra, without a script, but not any 'drug store' in the back soi.

I have gotten discounts by buying in quantity.

THB 2000 for 4

Or go to Ranong / Victoria Point (Burma border crossing) and its about 30 - 50 Baht a pill / 120 - 200 baht a pack (the blue ones)! :o

The authorities occasionally search people going through so be careful.

Sildenafil is licensed for use in Thailand only under brand name Viagra (an import) and Elonza a locally made generic equivalent. Possibly there is also a GPO formulation.

Tadalafil is licensed only under brand name Cialis

Sidenafil and tadalafil are not legally available over the counter

Various formulations sold OTC are illegal and may also be fake.

I wish to caution that even the presumed legit viagra and cialis is often counterfeit. Without revealing too much, there is one way for a consumer to spot the current counterfeit scheme: The product monograph. It has multiple typos. The common counterfeit viagra monograph will indicate that it is sourced from the manufacturing plant in Australia. Read the product monograph closely. If there are multiple typos or printing errors, it is most likely counterfeit. The seals, the hologram, the barcodes look real, because they are. That's "stock" packaging. The Australian TGA requires product monographs to be free of error. I strongly suggest that for drugs prone to counterfeiting that they be purchased from reputable pharmacists, preferably hospitals. Yes, I know the hospitals charge more, but at least you have a better chance of getting the actual product.

Please check the expiry dates on the boxes. In April I did a random check on 3 products at multiple outlets. In many cases outlets were selling products that had expired. For example, one product (a common headlice shampoo) had an expiry date of between 1 year past due on the entire lot on the shelf. Another had boxes with safety seals broken. I went back to the retail outlets in July and observed the same situation. Please look closely at what you are purchasing. Conduct yourself on the basis that there is no pharmasurveillance or enforcement of "regulations". Caveat emptor.
