Rear Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

Hi

I recently ordered a new Vigo from Toyota in Phuket and was eager to include rear parking sensors from their option catalogue.

I was very disappointed as the dealer here previously had warranty problems with sensors fitted to metal bumpers and was now reluctant to offer them to me as an option on the Vigo.

Evidently the metal in the bumper causes interference which is not present in plastic bumpers.

Is there anyone out there who has been through this problem before and can offer advice on a solution to retro-fitting sensors on metal bumpers?

Thanks in advance.

Sanuk

In my 2006 Vigo I had aftermarket rear sensors without problems. Just took delivery in Phuket on New Vigo, delivered with Toyota original rearsensor installed by Toyota Pearl. Both works excellent. I v had rearsensors for 10 years, and they have become a must for an old lazy guy.
